Mudjacking is a technique that was introduced in Iowa in the 1930s in order to correct frost heave of roadways and curbs. This approach was instantly popular and consisted of drilling holes 1-3 inches in diameter into the concrete and pumping a messy slurry made of mud and concrete underneath.
