Foundation Support Specialists Partners with Habitat for Humanity

This year, the team at Foundation Support Specialists (FSS) partnered with Habitat for Humanity. As part of the companywide Build Together 2024 initiative, employees assisted in home builds for members of the local communities. 

FSS’s parent company, Groundworks, donated $100,000 Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country to support long-term stability through safe and affordable housing. Part of the Goodworks by Groundworks program, this partnership gives 5,000 employees the chance to volunteer in 63 communities throughout the year. 

San Antonio 

This May, FSS employees and Eco-Soil Stabilizers employees teamed up to work at the Habitat ReStore in New Braunfels, Texas. Comal County Habitat for Humanity hosted 14 employees from the two offices as they helped organize and process donations at the store and build dog houses for a future Habitat fundraiser.  

Habitat ReStores are independently owned reuse stores operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. The sales from donated items help Habitat for Humanity partner with local families to build, rehabilitate and repair safe and affordable homes in the community.
