Foundation issues can be intimidating, but should this deter you from purchasing the home of your dreams? Buyers often have a bargaining tool to use in negotiations with sellers once foundation issues have been detected and documented during an inspection. When foundation issues are discovered, sellers frequently have to make other concessions in order to close the deal, whether it is a price reduction or other requested repairs.
After your initial home inspection, you should have the foundation evaluated and repaired by a structural engineer. Structural engineers are specifically trained to assess the extent of foundation problems and provide accurate repairs. Foundation repair is not a do-it-yourself project. In fact, many mortgage lenders and home insurance companies require documentation that foundation issues have been resolved by a professional foundation specialist.

Finished our foundation repair project today! We were able to stabilize the foundation and lift the house one inch. We worked around landscaping, gas lines, and rainy weather. As soon as we put the deck back together, this house will be foundation damage free!
The pier installations continue for this foundation repair project at Mr. Lawrence's house. One of our supervisors helped push these steel piers until they hit bedrock. We should be wrapping up here this week and will stabilize this house for good!
Starting a new foundation repair project for owners who are preparing to sell their house. We'll be installing 24 steel piers along 3 sides of the house. One of the great things about chosing FSS is that our warranties are transferrable to any new owner and we don't charge a transfer fee!
We needed to do some adjustments for this foundation repair project. We had to lift the house an additional 2 inches and install extra piers inside the house. We covered her furniture with tarp to prevent he home from getting too dirty with dirt and concrete. Happy to help another FSS customer!
Beginning a new foundation repair project in San Antonio, TX. Our customer only needs 6 steel piers to stabilize his garage. The previous concrete piers were failing and causing cracks in the brick wall and garage floor. This should be a straight forward and quick fix.
*Project Complete* We finished installing 13 steel piers for our customer and had a successful stabilization of the home. Unfortunately, the cracked concrete didn't close up all the way, so we filled it in to eliminate the tripping hazard. On to the next foundation repair!
Foundation Repair Complete! This house was settling on opposite corners and we successfully stabilized his home. We only lifted the house a .25 inches. If we lifted more, we would have risked damaging the gas and water lines. Even though this isn't a dramatic lift, this foundation is safe from further settlement!
New project! Our customers foundation was settling at opposite corners due to the shifting soil. We'll install 11 piers at these corners to stabilize and lift the foundation. We'll also have to be careful with the gas, water, sprinkler and drain lines during the installation. Not to worry, FSS will make this foundation repair a breeze!
