I had a 18' round patio slab in my back yard that we wanted to erect an above-ground pool on but it was terribly unlevel. FSS came out, provided a reasonable bid and after my acceptance, the crew completed the work on the scheduled date. After erecting the pool, we noticed that one side of the slab was still lower. I contacted FSS, who sent a representative out and after looking, agreed that it still needed some work. I asked if we could postpone their return until after the summer season and the pool was taken down. They gladly agreed that would be the best solution for me. I called after we removed the pool, approximately two months later and I cannot say enough about the crew who arrived to complete the project. Justin and Paul arrived and utilizing an elevation tool, spent the afternoon drilling a dozen or more holes to raise the slab perfectly on all sides. They were respectful, pleasant and professional. It's wonderful to get the great service after I had already paid for the project. They stood behind their service, their warranty and their word. I highly recommend them.

Update....They called the next day. Explained the necessary steps to go forward. Everyone was so thoughtful and wonderful! Definitely my number one when I go to do my foundation! Have a wonderful day!First.. office staff is great. Has to wait about 2 weeks for inspection. Understandable. $150 for visit. Waived if you use them for the work.Gentleman was nice and respectable. Had them look at my modular home foundation we're purchasing. He said it was temporary foundation. I said I could have sworn I was told it was permanent. Laughed it off for the moment. After all, I could have been incorrect.Anyway, spoke to my realtor. We have documentation showing permanent foundation in 2007.I called the company, upset. First... Bad on me.. I thought I hadn't received the initial cost / inspection.However, the office lady gave me his phone number and he hasn't responded.I requested a new quote. And, in my way of thinking, he needs to come back and go under the house. Which he didn't do. In order to see what actually there, since there is some, if not all, permanent foundation.No response so far.

If you ever need a foundation company this is bar none the absolute best. I met with all the local foundation companies with the best reputations - RamJack, Baird, GL Hunt and Olshan. The system FSS uses is not the least expensive, but by far the best. All components are galvanized to include the piping. The competitor's equipment could not even compare with FSS. Just as important, the crew who did the work on my home were absolute professionals in their trade. Andrew, Ricky and Gabe were the best. All of them have years of experience and the foreman, Andrew, has almost two decades of knowledge and hands-on experience, and knowing this eased any concernes I had. Once the fifteen piers were all in place, all piers were connected together via hydraulic hoses and pump. Only then was the house lifted simultaneously - both left and right sides. Initially, one of my major concerns was broken plumbing pipes, as I had read from many of their competitor's poor reviews. Once FSS began to lift the house it was done methodically and slowly, being extra careful to try not to break any pipes. No pipes were broken and my house was lifted an inch on the left front side and two and half inches on the right! FSS exceeded my expectations!!

I have a house that was built in the 1940's. It has been updated several times, the latest in 2016. We expanded the footprint at least three times that I'm aware of so it is a combination of pier/beam and cement. With the last update, we leveled the house which meant, we shimmed the old beams. When the house started settling again, I contracted several firms to provide estimates. FSS was the most comprehensive and we decided to replace all the beams with the steal jacks. The technology was the selling point, but the whole team was exceptional. As per the course, in looking at all the beams, the team found beams and sub-flooring that was compromised. Julio and his experts quickly gave me pictures and estimates to replace the beams and flooring.Not what I wanted to hear, but I really didn't want to do this every 4-5 years. The job went very well. Everyone was so nice, explained the whole process and followed through on all promises.I would recommend this company to anyone. I have life time warranty that is transferable to the next owner. I want to start my story from the beginning, I'm 60 year old, whit a house that is 20 years old, 2 years ago I start having foundation problems, little cracks on my floor tiles, I knew this was going to cost me a lot of money to repair, I save for 2 years to get the 10K to fix this problem, I start looking for companies and estimates to do the job, I have different options, but the one that I like most was the proposal of FSS, it wasn't the cheap one but it was the one that I feel it was going to give the results that I was looking for, let me be clear, this was not about the money, there were estimates that I have for 5K, 7K, 15, even 20K, this one was goin to cost me 9K, the difference is that this company uses steel galvanize piers which make it unique , compare with the other ones that just use concrete piers, the waiting time for the job was around 3 months, AND I gave them 3k to reserve the work, that's tell me that this guys were very busy, you know that in 3 months life can change a lot, and more in this days of pandemic, well I lost my job, no income coming, my wife doesn't work due to health problems, so here I am feeling that the world is against me, unfortunately I have to start using the money that I save for the work, but always thinking that my situation was going to change soon, and that I was going to be able to come up with the money that I was using to pay the mortgage, when the time came to schedule the day for the repair to start I was still with no job and no money to complete the payment, I was really depress, I have to tell them to cancel the work, I found out also that day about the 3 days policy, in simple words you have 3 days to cancel after you sign, well I was double devastated, so I call the sales person and he contact the owner Brian, he gave me a call back and I explain to him the whole situation, I have to say I whish we have more people like him, he understood my problem and agree to refund me my 3K, that tells me what kind of a person is this guy, I didn't got the job done FOR KNOW but once I get back on my feet's, I'm going to contact FSS again and finish the work, I definitely will recommend this company to every one that are looking for a high quality job, and the most important the honesty of the owner and the team that works with him, Thanks Brian

I’m extraordinarily impressed with the service I received from everyone at Foundation Support Specialists, from start to finish...Truly... they went above and beyond to accommodate!!! I’m in no way paid to write this review and am the owner of the property FSS leveled for our family. They were the most knowledgeable, respectful, polite group of men. It wasn’t a new crew everyday! They were well trained and each introduced themselves. They moved things respectfully and were eager to please!! They were willing to move the extra earth wherever we desired on the property and did so with kindness, willingness and to serve us with a smile! They were quick and efficient as they cleaned up after the job was complete. It’s a messy job and they made my lawn look quite decent afterwards. I truly was surprised.I did have 3 other leveling companies measure and give quotes. A fourth wanted to charge me for the quote. FSS was gracious, efficient and provided a free quote. FSS by far gave the best information (it did vary between companies), had the best plan, the best prices, "Galvanized" pipe and a FREE -LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE Warranty! . None of the other companies offered that. It truly was an easy decision.All my questions were politely and respectfully answered (and I had PLENTY!). After the lifting was complete AAAND the Renowned Texas Freeze had thawed, they performed another hydrostatic test. DrainWorks found some leaking under my foundation, unfortunately this particular Drain leak had been there since 2012!!! Josh with FSS actually had found it!!! FSS truly has been an answer to my prayers. DrainWorks was on it!!!! DrainWorks gave me the Best price in town because I was a FSS customer! Between these two amazing sister companies?!? A 9 year old drain leak was resolved that a few other companies last year had missed while under my house for another plumbing leak in the same area!!! (Yep you heard me right, 2 tunnels in one year! ). But we’re happy and dry now!!!! (There were no $ surprises or additions in the end)Josh, Jeremy, Daniel, Dennis and David and the rest of those respectful hard working men I so appreciate. I apologize for not recognizing everyone... as they all were extremely well trained, respectful, kind, helpful and hard working.I did choose to have them back fill with poly foam, densely to firm up all the areas. My initial evaluator was Daryl who very professional, knowledgeable, and well prepared. He explained the proposed work and overall quote nicely. My tech crew was Jose & Erik. Both were very professional, courteous, and willing to explain any questions about leveling the concrete decking around our pool. They provided realistic expectations, remained focus during the project, and cleaned the area when they were done. They also reminded me of the 3-year warranty which is very reassuring with the unstable soil in our area. Very pleased overall.

Everything about my experience with Foundation Support Specialists was outstanding, and far exceeded my expectations. We thought we needed major foundation repair, but FSS was quick to point out that we were well within structural tolerances, and a major repair was unnecessary. We did decide to have our sidewalk raised, as it had sunk unevenly over time. The process was quick and a great value. The sidewalk and seams look brand new! My house is on a pier and beam foundation. It was built in 1941. I have lived in it for 15 years. After a few years I noticed the floor begin to sag in areas. Then, a few months ago a beam completely collapsed under my kitchen floor. FSS was doing a foundation repair for my mother (her house is over 100 years old), so she recommended them to me. One of the owners of the company, Brian Holt, came out to assess the situation. He was very professional. He got his crew out immediately to replace the beam, but then we discovered the dire condition of the wood under the house. Prior termite damage and years of moister had rotted all the wood under my house. You could pull the wood apart with your fingers. When FSS started the foundation replacement, the lead noted the home’s wood floors were built directly onto the joists. There was no subfloor. The original wood floor was rotted as well and would also have to be replaced. Brian said his crew could remove the rotted wood and put in a subfloor. I had already decided I was going to have luxury vinyl plank installed to replace the wood floor. I was uncertain about having a foundation company replace my wood floor with subfloor, but Brian spent a lot of time with me explaining what his crew would do and why they would be the best people to perform the repairs. Brian stated they would be done in two weeks and the project was completed in two weeks on the dot. Brian’s crew was led by the foreman, Ignacio (Nacho) Chavira. He is such a kind, considerate man. He would check in with me at the start of the day to tell me what they were going to work on and before he left at the end of the day, Nacho would tell me what the plan for the next day was. If I had any concern, I would point it out, and it was dealt with immediately. On a side note, Brian saved me thousands of dollars. I thought I needed a French drain in my yard. Brian showed me how, with just a few inexpensive changes, I could improve my drainage. I implemented these changes and my yard drains beautifully now. You can trust this company. They were so good to my mother and to me. If you are looking for a company who cares about your home and you, you should choose FSS. I will recommend them to anyone.

After finding major cracks in my brick work on my exterior brick and inside drywall I knew what the deal was. A couple of years prior to that I had found that my ceramic tile was cracking. After extensively reading reviews I chose 3 foundation companies to come out and walk with me asking each one the same questions at the end of our "tour" I chose FSS and I have no doubt that my decision was the very best. Not only are all the owners and employees knowledgeable and super courteous but their work is top notch. Do your homework and make your decision but keep in mind the investment in your home is great and the damage done by a company that does not deliver a good product will be much more costly in the end and will devalue your home.

Today we had a review of an issue in our house with tiles up-heaving, leading to a suspicion of our foundation being damaged., I had Olshan come into my home and do an evaluation of my foundation. Scott, was the representative from Olshan, and I can not say enough of how pleased I was with Scott's evaluation. He inspected a significant portion of our house, and taking a large amount of measurement of the house, pertaining to the foundation slipping or moving. He did measure evey crook and corner of this house. I was impressed. He also took the time to completely explain what we up against, while at the same time giving me suggestions how to approach the rest of the problem. . I cannot say enough about the effort he put forth to address our problem. We were in turmoil for a year dealing with various engineers and other companies trying to figure out what to do with our pool and wall around the pool. Thankfully we finally found a structural engineer, Homer Parker, that was able to put a plan together and referred us to Foundation Support Specialists to do the work. Our dealings were with Brian, Josh, and the leader of the crew, David. All were exceptional. The work was done as promised, on time, with absolutely no issues. Communication was very good. When we bought our house last year we chose to go with Foundation Support Specialists for a couple of reasons, with the main reason was that they offered financing. Brian came out and gave us an estimate and was very professional and forthcoming with information. Everyone with the company has worked with us in helping us fix our foundation issues in a reasonable amount of time. Another reason we chose FSS was because of they use jacks under the house to support the foundation. Other companies we contacted do not use the jacks in their repairs. The ability to continually adjust our house has been a godsend because we live in an area where the soil is very shifty and we have had the ability to have FSS come out and make necessary adjustments. I hired Foundation Support Specialists to do a large stabilization, drainage, and waterproofing project to a concrete slab addition in the back of my home. I was experiencing shifting and water penetration and was desperate for help. I called one company that never called me back after a lengthy estimate (frustrating) and another that only handled foundation work and not drainage work. Foundation Support Specialists fulfilled all of my needs as a homeowner. My project date started weeks sooner than anticipated and was completed within 2-weeks. The Inspection

After you connect with FSS, we will schedule an inspection of your property. For homeowners, foundation repair estimates are 100% free, which means you get a no-strings-attached inspection and price estimate on services from us. Our inspection process is a thorough look inside and outside of your property, including the crawl space or basement, to determine just what is going on with your foundation.

Your Bid

When the inspection has been completed, the team at FSS will provide you with a bid. Typically our estimates will be ready for you within a few days of the consultation. Our technicians will be available to you for any questions or concerns. We are happy to walk you through every step that will be taken to repair your foundation. We want you to have a thorough understanding of the repairs and price before you sign up with us.

Accept Proposal

When you decide to hire us for your foundation repair work, we will provide you with answers to any of your questions as well as timelines and expectations of work. We understand that foundation work can be an expensive undertaking, which is why we offer flexible, affordable financing options. Once payment plans are finalized and an initial deposit is made, we will schedule the date of production.

Let’s Get To Work

Once the job has started, you can expect daily updates from the foreman on what has been done and what still needs to be done. Our crew uses top quality American made products and tools to provide exceptional workmanship and foundation solutions that last. However, we understand that issues pop up and sometimes miscommunication happens. Please let us know anytime throughout the process if you have concerns or questions we have not addressed.

Final Walkthrough

When the work is nearing completion, our crew will do our best to put your home’s landscaping back to rights. We will make sure bushes are replanted, yards are cleaned of debris and any evidence of repair work tidied up. Before the job is over, our foreman will do a final walkthrough with you to ensure the work has been completed successfully.

Our service to your foundation doesn’t end there. We want to make sure that, in case your home or business experiences foundation issues again in the future, we are on top of things immediately. Please consult with us if you would like us to check on past work or have any concerns. We offer either long term warranties or guarantees for life on certain services. update: just got a call from the owner who said he can fit me in ASAP. They send an email 1 day before as a reminder. If you don't catch it and return with a confirmation. They cancel the appoinment you have had for a month and arranged to be off work for. They don't call you again to tell you they did this. They just don't show up.
